Hi,
I haven't visited the cdbaby website in a long while, and when I went on there, it seems they've updated the site. But Now, I can't listen to any of the audio samples. I do have adobe flash 10 installed. I see where it says something like sample all tracks, but it's not a button or anything. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, how'd you fix it?
Thanks,
Jen
I haven't used it in ages, too, for the same reason, and am disappointed not to be able to. I loved that site!
I use IE and Jaws, btw.
However, a friend who has the latest version of Jaws--11, I think, but I'll check on that--says that it is accessible with the newest Jaws, it just displays the page differently so that you can access the correct buttons/links.
Not very helpful, I know, but just wanted to say that it *can* be done.
I have not tested this myself either, but have you tried going to CDBaby in Firefox? Maybe that would work.
Please write to CDBaby and complain about this level of accessibility. I did some months ago and was told they were working on the accessibility. I told them that it used to be a great site, but was no longer a nice experience for blind people, and they did respond. It's a real shame as it was a great site, but the more of us who write to them with our concerns the better.
I was able to use my windoweyes mouse to click on the albums I wanted to see, but also couldn't listen to the samples still. it's bound to lose them a little business, as I know several blind artests who sell with them, and they have even more problems than we as shoppers do.
thank you both for your help. I'm sad to know that it's not a problem that can be fixed at the present. I sincerely hope they do fix it soon. I love that site!
